The Monsoon season is officially over, the rain almost everywhere was satisfactory in regards to the growth of the Guar crops. Nature does not obey and follow our time table, as it is still raining in parts of India, luckily these extra rains will increase the yield. For this reason the market has softened at present.
This years crop is estimated at around 10 million bags of seeds, 15% +/- from the previous year, the carryover is good and the supply will remain comfortable. The Guar market has been steady baring a few changes.
The local price for Guar splits has moved within a narrow band of Rs / per kg. The same trend should continue in the near future but will depend on demand. At the present the demand has been slow and steady.
